Ark Wines Vineyard
First planted in 2019, the vineyard now covers 6ha with just over 20,000 vines in the ground and eight different varieties of grapes, including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay & Pinot Gris.
Shotley Vineyard
Another small but punching award winning vineyard, with tours, tasting and pop-up events of all sorts! Don’t miss the latest dates for your diary
Dedham Vineyard
Currently closed to the public but their wines can be bought on their website
Coopers Croft Vineyard
Coopers Croft is a small vineyard located between Newmarket and Bury St Edmunds. The vineyard began in 2012 when 300 Pinot Noir vines were planted; the total is now 1000 vines – 500 Pinot and 500 Bacchus. The team here do arrange private tours.
Thelnetham Vineyard.
A private vineyard not open to the public but one of historic relevance for the Suffolk wine scene as it is one of the earliest planted vineyards, from 1985. Look out for Thelnetham wines in local shops and restaurants.
Flint Vineyard
On the Suffolk/Norfolk border, this excellent English wine producer has been making wine since 2016 across 26,000 vines of the beautiful Waveney Valley. Discover with tours tasting, events and a cellar door.
Chilford Hall Vineyard
Just on the Cambridgeshire border, planting of the first vines took place in 1972, making it one of the oldest established vineyards in England. Book a tour and sample some of the winning wines or relax on the terrace with an English afternoon tea.
Copdock Hall Vineyard
Planted in 2013, Copdock Hall Vineyard occupies half an acre of land, next to St Peter’s Church, Copdock. It comprises three varieties – Rondo, Bacchus and Solaris and produced its first harvest in 2015.They offer wine tours, talks and tastings at Copdock Hall. These can be packaged with afternoon tea or light lunches and must be booked in advance
Lavenham Brook Vineyard
This vineyard has 10,000 vines of Bacchus and Pinot Noir, as well as a farm shop selling produced Red Poll beef and apple juice
Thorrington Mill Vineyard
Just over the border in Essex, this charming vineyard runs events from April to October. Glamping is also available on site
Tuffon Hall Vineyard
Just over the Suffolk/Essex border is this award wining family owned and run vineyard. They started planting in 2011 with Bacchus, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier and open during the Summer for tours and tastings in the stunning barns.
DJ Wines Vineyard
DJ wines vineyard is not open to the public but the winery is open by appointment and on special events
Shawsgate Vineyard
One of East Anglia’s oldest vineyards (1973), you will find seven wine varieties over 13acres for self guided, private and event tour days.
Burnt House Vineyard
This beautiful farm diversified in 2017 to incorporate Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir vines over 22 acres. On selected dates, visit the newly built cellar door and visitor centre, or arrange a private tour.
Giffords Hall Vineyard
This award winning, family run, producer of English sparkling and still wines is internationally known. Located close to Bury St Edmunds, the vineyard is often open for tours and their Cellar Door shop is open for tasting daily.
